The title of this serial is based on Arijit Singh’s song “ Channa Mereya “ from the movie “ Aye Dil hy Mushkil “. The shooting of this serial started in May 2022. Karan Wahi and Niyati Fatnani casted for lead role in this serial. The serial went to air on 12 November 2022 due to low viewership.
Storyline of Channa Mereya :
The story of Channa Mereya revolve around the love of food and it is based on Punjabi culture. Ginni is a 24 years old girl who lives in a little bubble of her interest. She is full of life . Ginni is desperate from her family problems and she lost feeling for love. Ginni and her family run a small Dhaba in Amritsar.
While on the other hand, Aditya Singh is a 27 years old boy who desires to be one of highest hoteliers in the world. He has questions about the significance and meanings for his life and got answer from a girl whom he despises before.
