It is produced by Rashmi Sharma under the production of Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. The series stars Shefali Sharma, Kamya Punjabi. The show is a remake of Telugu serial Ganga Manga.

Sanjog Serial Story
The show has an interesting storyline wherein the paths of two contrasting personalities of Amrita and Gauri get entangled. Amrita longs to become a mother while gauri is already a mother of two child. For Amrita, it is a dream come true when shebgot to know that she is pregnant. However, Amrita’s married like with Rajiv is not going smooth. Rajiv loves Amrita’s best friend Rakshita, and he decided to leave Amrita and divorce her. While all this was going on, destiny takes a new turn. Amrita found out that she is pregnant with Rajiv’ s child. On knowing that, Rajiv changed his decision divorcing Amrita.
The story revolves around the elements of selfless love, and infidelity in marriage and also shows how a woman has to go through a lot if she doesn’t get pregnant early after marriage.
Shefali Sharma as Amrita plays the role of sophisticated wife while Kamya Punjabi as Gauri is totally opposite to Amrita, as she complies with her husband and mother and they snatch things from rich people.
But unlike Amrita and Rajiv, the bond between Gopal and Gauri is very beautiful. They are hand in hand in which each other in everything they do & also express love for each other.
Amrita’s marriage life is full of sturggles. Rajiv is completely self-centred as an individual. Amrita continues to do struggle of changing things all over again in her marital life with Rajiv.
The main plot of this drama serial starts when Amritaand gauri both came in the same hospital for their delivery. Accidentally Amrita’s and Gauri’s daughters get swapped after delivery in the hospital. Amrita gave birth to Chanda and Gauri gave birth to Tara.
On being swapped, Amrita’s daughter Chanda grows up with Gauri while Gauri’s daughter Tara grows up with Amrita. Amrita and Gauri both are confused because of their daughter’s contrasting personalities as they are not their biological daughters and they have no idea about it.
As Amrita and Gauri are completely different person according to their personalities, viewers will see the reflection of their personalities in their biological daughters too.

Rakshita bring chocolate for Tara. Amrita ask her how do you know about Tara because as far as I remember I ever told you about Tara. Rakshita said that she saw Tara’s photo in Rajiv phone. She said that she looks like you, her personality explains that she is your daughter. Further Amrita said that i have to do my work and will talk to you later. Amrita ask Tara to share chocolate with Chandani and left the room. Chandani didn’t eat chocolate and said that I don’t like it and giver her back the choclate.
After doing her work, Amrita went to talk to Rakshita, she walks to Tara’s room and see them playing together. Tara says Rakshita is teaching me how to play a new game. Amrita says to Tara that you continue to play and ask Rakshita to come with her.
Amrita ask where were you from last 7 years. Rakshita got dramatic and said that leave it. Amrita forced her to tell. Rakshita told her that she was in Singapore jail and told the story. Amrita got emotional on hearing this and felt sorry for not being able to help her friend. Rakshita says I lost everything in last 7 years but you don’t have to worry I’ll leave from here soon. Amrita said you don’t have to go anywhere, stay here and start your new life. Rakshita who wants to live there but didn’t want Amrita to know her real intentions said that this is your in-laws house so anyone can have a problem with me living there. Amrita said that I will tell Rajiv about what happened with you and he won’t let you leave. Rakshita got happy on hearing this.
When Amrita talked to Rajiv about Rakshita to stay at their home, Rajiv said that what people will say, she is single and won’t you be feeling insecure. Amrita said that she trust you and Rakshita. On hearing this Rajiv got relaxed that now Amrita won’t doubt him and Rakshita. So, Rajiv become agree with Amrita about the stay of Rakshita at their home, Amrita gets excited and starts to do arrangements for the stay of Rakshita.
